Boyfriend Jeans

Salaam beauties, a couple of weeks ago i took a day off from work and took my little brother out to central London. We first went to the British Museum which he enjoyed very much especially seeing the mummies. Then we took the bus into Oxford Circus and did some sight seeing on the way and at Oxford i did some window shopping. After all this, we went to Edgware Road and had some dinner. It was a nice brother and sister day lol.

So as there was a lot of walking involved, i tried to dress as comfortable as i can and it was also a bit cold. I ended up wearing boyfriend jeans and a jumper.

Weddings and Tings!

Salaam beauties, hope you all had a lovely weekend. I went to a wedding on Friday night and this was what i wore. The wedding was quite nice with a lot of music, dancing and good food. I had to travel straight from work all the way to Birmingham so was pretty tired plus we did not leave the venue till past 4am. So soon as we got home which was past 5am, i just prayed fajr and threw myself on the bed!

As it was a Gambian wedding, i decided to wear traditional Gambian clothes. I was going to wrap my head the traditional Gambian way but the neckline of the dress was low so i decided to wear a hijab instead. The necklace i was going to wear with the headwrap wont show with the hijab so i put it on my head instead with a LOT of pins to make it stay in place. LOL i had a lot of stares and compliments as it was a bit weird with the Gambian community. For the shoes however, i did not have any gold ones to match the outfit so i opted for black as black goes with everything!

Hope you guys like the outfit! xx

Kimono Loving

Salaam beauties, this is an outfit post on what i wore last weekend to the Gambian event in the park. It was a good day as i saw some people i haven't seen in a LONG time. A nice reunion thing. Plus traditional events in Gambia were re enacted which was amazing and made me miss back home sooo much!

I'm in love with this kimono from H&M and literally wear it with everything. Its classy yet also offers great coverage.

Hope you guys like the outfit xx

Sunday Abaya

Salaam Lovelies! hope everyone had a lovely Sunday, mine was a very chilled one. Woke up later than 8am which is something i haven't done in a while so yay! lol so my outfit today was very casual as i was feeling lazy from the moment i woke up.

I just threw on this abaya and then i was off for the day. The abaya is very baggy so to give it some shape, i just tied some spare cloth laying around as i was too lazy to find a belt (they just all disappeared :/). I Paired the abaya with some sandals and i was off to go!!
